Kids Holiday Club Dates: July 8th-10th 2025 

Who can join: Christians in Year 9 and older,

and Christians in Years 7-8 if a parent is involved all day too.

Information about each of the teams you can join (scroll down to choose your preference):

 

Kids program runs for 3 days, 8:30am-3:30pm on Tuesday 8th-Thursday 10th July. Most teams need to arrive by 8:00am and stay for a meeting after. Set up will be on Monday 7th July.

Most teams need a currrent Working with Children Check, some also need current Safe Ministry Training and a Safe Ministry Check.

 

Kids Team:

  • New groupings for this year. Kindy-Year 1, Years 2-4, Years 5-6.
  • Running activities, craft & games
  • Leading a small group of kids to feel welcome and have fun and teach the Bible in a fun way
  • Sharing the good news about Jesus with kids
  • For every adult who signs up we can take 7 more kids!

 

Rego Team, including some who can speak Mandarin

This team will work together to ensure families are welcomed, have a warm first impression of St Pauls and get connected to programs we run at church. This may involve working together to:

  • Run the check in desk
  • Ensure we have accurate information about kids needs
  • Help parents and carers feel comfortable leaving their kids
  • Invite families to join us for other church activities
  • Mandarin speakers will assist families through the check in and check out processes

 

Food Team:

To support Kids Holiday Club, the food team will:

  • Provide morning tea and lunch for children and leaders
  • Organise a food for team, kids and their families for an afternoon party at the end of Kids Holiday Club

 

Logistics:

To support Kids Holiday Club, the logisitics team works together to set up safe, well-functioning spaces. The team will be responsible for:

  • Looking after parking and road safety
  • Organising set up and pack up
  • Supporting other teams to set up and pack up activities

 

Tech/AV:

This team will also ensure that sound, music and video are utilised to their potential for singing, talks, games and activities. The team will be responsible for:

  • Sound and screen in the North Hall mainly and East/West Hall

 

Prayer Team:

This team will support all the teams for Kids Holiday Club by praying

  • Receive prayer points via email
  • Possibly join a zoom meeting to pray as a group

 

Family Mission and Coffee Cart Team:

This team will work on ways to connect with parents

  • This will include being available around check in time to have coffee and chat
  • Aim is to get to know people and invite them to church
